Host a TYE Intern

TiE Young Entrepreneurs Program (TYE) inspires, challenges and empowers high school students to become the next generation of business leaders.  During this 8 month program, students learn important leadership skills they can use in all aspects of their lives from seasoned entrepreneurs. The program culminates with a State Competition and an opportunity to compete at an all-expense paid trip to the TiE Global Competition!
As a special reward for highly engaged participants, TiE Oregon will match students with Oregon-based businesses for summer internships. Each year, we place approximately 50 students — so we need your help!
The duration of the internship can be adjusted to fit your preference and can range from 2 weeks to 3 months. Responsibilities can range from administration tasks to shadowing development teams. Their skills range from programming and coding to marketing and analytics. These students are dedicated and eager to learn.

Internships can take one of two formats:

  • – Individual contributor (company defined project/assignments)

  • – Group research project with several students (company defined project)
*TiE Oregon provides an advisor to aide with communication, establish clear expectations, and intervene in case of issues.

The diverse TYE student population is comprised of students from all around the Portland Metro including Benson, Reynolds, Catlin Gable, Jesuit, Oregon Episcopal School, Rosemary Anderson High Schools and others.
