Mentor Connect – Mentor Connect takes place the 3rd Wednesday afternoon of the month. This opportunity allows you to meet 1:1 for 30-minutes with four separate entrepreneurs. It is a great way to meet up-coming entrepreneurs and is a light touch approach to mentoring.

TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) – The TYE Program is a year-long program that inspires and challenges high school students to be the next generate of entrepreneurs through a project-based curriculum taught directly in area high schools. This year the program is being offered at Rosemary Anderson, Benson, Lincoln, Madison, and Jefferson High Schools. Over 80% of TYE students say a mentor is vital to their success in the TYE program. Mentors assist students throughout the entire process of building their business.

Pitch Oregon 2020 – Pitch Oregon is TiE Oregon’s annual marquee pitch competition, attracting hundreds of entrepreneurs, mentors, and investors each year.

We are looking for volunteers to participate on the Finalist Selection Committee. Please email [email protected].

Entrepreneur Boot Camp TiE XL is a series of 10 workshops that cover key-aspects of what every entrepreneur should know.

TiE UniversityTiE University empowers university/college students to become the next generation of entrepreneurs by educating, mentoring, and inspiring them to plan and take intelligent risks in starting a business. TiE University brings together university entrepreneurs with successful business leaders across Oregon to perfect their pitch, develop their product or service and provide a holistic approach to their startup. TiE Oregon’s local program is lead by fellow Charter Member, David Smith PhD.

TiE Women — TiE Women is dedicated to EmbraceEngage and Empower women entrepreneurs across the globe. The program is aligned with TiE’s foundational pillars focused on fostering women entrepreneurs. The sector-agnostic program is focused on women entrepreneurs, irrespective of the size of their enterprises, origins, standing or background. The program consists of a series of local events and culminates with one women-led business from Oregon competing at in a global pitch competition at the TiE Global Summit. There will be $100,000 in prize money for the winner! This year, TiE Oregon member, Yomassage is competing in Dubai UAE, January 13-14, 2021. The local program is lead by fellow Charter Member, Heather Samarin.

Pitch Club – Pitch Club is an event where entrepreneurs learn the criteria and methods used by real investors to evaluate their venture as a potential investment. This is done by recreating a typical investor meeting where a few companies pitch and receive feedback from TiE Oregon Charter Members.  It is a great way to hear from up-coming entrepreneurs and find potential investment opportunities. Pitch Club is led by fellow Charter Members, Tom Kingsley and Robin Jones.
