STUDENT LEADERSHIP

Our team of leaders and administrative volunteers help run the student mentor program, manage social media, marketing and recruitment for TYE, and are involved in core leadership decisions about the future of the program.
Mentors:
Our wonderful TYE mentors provide guidance and support to the teams in our Central program. They help individual teams apply the skills they learn in the program to their startup ideas. Our mentors are all experienced TYE students who have gone through the program curriculum before.

Lead Student Co-Director

Hi Yall! My name is Nicholas Manoharan and I’m a student at Sunset High School. TYE has put me on a journey to learn that creating a business is a process that isn’t as tedious or difficult as most would perceive entrepreneurship to be. This program has taught me the process of ideation, as well as how to collaborate with new teammates. Entrepreneurship is amazing because it puts people through the thought process that a business can get created based on whatever idea someone wants it to be and that you can be as flexible as you want when it comes to how your business operates. TYE is a great place to learn these ideas with great instructors. I am extremely fortunate to be a part of this program to help students achieve their dreams and actually make an impact in the world!

Student Co-Director

Hi! My name is Clara Finkelstein, and I am a student at Laurel Springs School. While a student at TYE, I learned that through teamwork, mentorship, and dedication, my team’s ideas could come to life in the form of our business. While entrepreneurship is a challenging and ambitious task to tackle, TYE is a wonderful way for like-minded individuals to work together towards the same goal of creating a business unique to their values, interests, and identities. Regardless of where these ventures go, the skills taught through the program and the community behind every step truly make this opportunity so special. I look forward to seeing how incoming students unleash their creativity to embrace entrepreneurship in unique ways!
